Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury, such as knee ligament sprains, knee meniscal tears, knee muscle strains, knee tendinitis, knee cartilage damage and bursitis. The knee is a weight bearing joint and therefore can affect your mobility. X-rays, scans and other tests are sometimes required to make a diagnosis and your osteopath may refer to your GP or a specialist for any additional investigations or treatment.
